Presidential Election and me

Yesterday I spent all morning and the early afternoon watching the presidential election results on NHK. It was nice to see Obama win. I’m not the only one that wanted that. Pretty much the whole world wanted it. So yay to Obama and hopefully he can get things turned around.

Besides that it’s been a pretty busy couple of weeks. I had some graphic design work which I had to do. I was asked to make the logo for Honua Massage in Honolulu. I’m not really in the business of graphic design because I don’t think I am that good at it. The only reason I took the job was because I was requested. I had originally made their logo a couple of years ago. They wanted me to make them a new one because they are reorganizing their business and taking a new name. The logo I thought came out pretty nice. I didn’t really do much design work. Just made theid ideas a reality through digitization and such.

Besides the logo, I also finished up the cover art for my next release. I like the way it came out. I can’t wait for the cd to be released. Earliest release date would be Tuesday the 11th. If anything it will be done by the end of this week and sent off to Iris distribution to be submitted to ITunes and other online retailers. We can expect an ITunes release date of early January. However the CD will be available for purchase through SIQ Records. Just need to do a couple of small last minute things like approve the masters and change the titles of 2 of the songs from the placeholder titles to their actual titles.

Well now that this project is pretty much wrapped up, I can start planning the next one. I’m not quite sure what it will be though. I’m leaning toward maybe making an experimental downtempo/dnb ep. However there is still the possibility of a follow up release to next week’s Stonehenge Diaries release. It’s been discussed and might happen.

I better go clean up the house an take of a few other things before I head off to work.

Aloha.
